Families Against Chronic Excessive Speeding (FACES 4)

Palos Park Police Commissioner Dan Polk has announced the Palos Park Police Department is joining forces with FACES4 in an effort to prevent deaths and injuries due to the senseless act of speeding.

The Palos Park Police Department joins over 165 other law enforcement agencies in Illinois by distributing informational palm cards to all motorists who are stopped by the police department for speeding violations.

The informational palm cards are supplied by FACES4 in cooperation with the Illinois Department of Transportation.

FACES4 was started by Bob and Dee Brant of Naperville and, Mike and Natalie Donovan of Glen Ellyn. Both familiesí goal is to raise public awareness of the tragic impact speeding has on lives. These founders of FACES4 both had children killed, plus the Donovanís had a grandchild killed, due to the senseless act of chronic speeding. Every fatality on our roadways due to excessive speed has a face and a story to tell. The families of these victims are here to tell the stories of their cherished loved ones.

For more information on FACES4, please see their website at www.faces4.org or contact the Palos Park Police Department.
